The Gas House Dance Hall Company Information
General information
We established the The Gas House Dance Hall in 2013, in what was formerly Blocker's Service and Hardware Station (Texaco) in the 1930s.
We specialize in teaching Swing Dance (including East Coast Swing / Jitterbug, Lindy Hop, and West Coast Swing) and Belly Dance. We also offer additional classes and workshops in styles such as Country Two-step, Hula hoop and Yoga to expose our students to alternative dance styles and techniques. In addition to hosting monthly Dance Socials, we also feature live Rockabilly bands on the Second Saturday night of each month*. Rockabilly music is great for Swing dancing, whether it's East Coast / Jitterbug, Lindy or West Coast Swing - Support your local music scene, meet great people, and practice or perfect your dance on our sprung dance floor, hope to see you at our next swing event!
