Founded in 1922 by Hal Lewis Cofer Sr as a farm supply store in downtown Athens,Ga.....later his sons H.L. Cofer Jr and Donald Cofer changed the business to meet the community needs and now it is one of Georgia's oldest family owned garden centers.
