CITCM Acupuncture & Massage Therapy Training

General information

CITCM acupuncture/DTCM program is adopted from the five-year university curriculum from China which is condensed into a four-year education. Learning both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in depth simultaneously sets this program as the most comprehensive and the highest standard curriculum in Canada. This allows CITCM to offer a Bachelor degree of TCM in collaboration with the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

CITCM massage program offers a blended learning opportunity for massage therapy training. We provide extensive hands-on classes and internships to develop students highly skilled in assessment, treatment, communication, and case management.

Students learning under the expert within a small class setting, having clinic supervisors side by side demonstrating, mentoring and assisting students to refine their techniques is the best way of training to become a top massage therapist. At the same time, this program blended with online academic classes gives students flexibility for a balanced schedule to accommodate different life commitments.

CITCM massage program, uniquely merges the Western orthopedics/therapeutics techniques and Eastern massage modalities, such as Tui Na, acupressure, cupping and Gua Sha. More skills means more success in the clinic. That is why our graduates have a 100% employment history, and they have become the popular ones for clinics awaiting to hire.

Scholarships are available. Most are exclusive to CITCM students enrolled in either the Double Major program and/or the WE Integrated Orthopedic Massage program. These opportunities are offered yearly to help finance the student’s education.
