General information

Dr. Harsha Rajasimha, having lost a child born with a rare disease and a brother with a chronic disease, was motivated to expedite the development of therapies for rare and common conditions. To achieve this goal, he leveraged his postdoctoral training experience at NIH and FDA. He realized that technology was not the limiting factor in this effort and therefore focused on creating a patient-centered design. This design would be guided by stakeholder needs and regulatory requirements and would guide their continuous learning digital platform.

Jeeva Trials, since its inception, has been working to automate manual repetitive tasks, thereby reducing the logistical burdens on patients and study teams by over 70%. The organization has also been successful in speeding up the process of bringing new medicines or vaccines to patients by over three times faster.

Jeeva Trials has developed a modular eClinical SaaS platform to streamline the execution of clinical trials. This platform is designed to work for decentralized, hybrid, or traditional trials, using a centralized schedule of visits and module configuration. The modules include eConsent, ePRO/eCOA/EDC, TeleVisits/VideoVisits, Adverse event capture with MedDRA coding, and a patient engagement portal with SMS/email/audio/video communications, reminders, and notifications.
