Who We Are

Founded in 1903 as an orphanage in Philadelphia, Christ’s Home has been meeting the needs of disadvantaged children continuously for 114 years. Throughout our history, Christ’s Home has been known as a place of caring, compassion, and community.

In 1907, we packed up our horse- and-buggies and journeyed to Warminster, Pennsylvania. Today, we are still in Warminster continuing to expand our programs and services.

In 1923, we purchased St. Stephen's Farm located in Warminster just ¼ mile from the children’s campus. What began as a modest ministry has steadily expanded on our 84-acre campus to include cottages, apartments, personal care, skilled nursing, and memory care services, serving nearly 600 seniors annually.

Continuing to grow, we opened a branch in Paradise, Lancaster County in 1936. This started as a pre-school ministry and has grown alongside the Warminster campus with group homes, transitional living, and a teen mother/baby program.
