It is the real key to my effectiveness as a health care provider. My intent is to develop a relationship with each person so that together we create a balanced plan that puts women in control of their own well being.

Allowing ample time for each appointment is key to essential for compassionate and thorough care. Over the course of my career I have interviewed countless people and asked them what they like about their provider. To a person, each one has responded that what matters the most to them is that the provider takes the time to understand their concerns and that their questions are answered. It can be difficult for some people to absorb information when there is an overlay of anxiety or other personal issues. I delight in explaining and educating in a clear, understandable and accessible manner.

Whether patients find themselves in need of acute care or long term care management, I strive to create a positive, personalized health care experience for women:

- I schedule appointments at times convenient for my patients, keep waiting times as short as possible and follow-up myself by phone or email

- I am committed to making the physical exam as gentle, short and comfortable as possible for all patients. I am experienced in care for women with histories of victimization or abuse, minimizing their discomfort

- I work effectively with women from diverse cultural and societal backgrounds and am fluent in Spanish

As a health care provider and a person, I value compassion, professionalism, equality and diversity. Working from these values I create a partnership with my patients which results in empowerment and better medical outcomes for their health and well being.
