Dave and Gigi Andrade, littleneck connoisseurs, fishermen, business partners, and soul-mates started Andrade's Catch in 1987 with the intentions to share their love of seafood with everyone and anyone who walked into their shop and home. While Dave was on the water all morning with his two yellow labs, Gigi was in the front of the house making the best damn Fish and Chips that any local Bristolian would swear by. And when Dave wasn't on the water or watching his three young kids, he was delivering his catch and other local quahogger's product to some of the finest restaurants in the area.

Twenty Seven years later, Dave is still delivering product to those same restaurants. And while Gigi isn't with us anymore to carry on the Fish and Chip business, the rest of the family is all grown up and there to carry on her legacy.

Our family doesn't just sell seafood, we develop partnerships that last, and we live by that philosophy. We also strongly believe, that wild shellfish is the only shellfish to eat. The taste, smell, appearance, and even shelf life of a farm raised product just doesn't compare to what Mother Nature can create. We understand that farm raised seafood is the only sustainable choice left for some fisheries in the world, but we don't believe farm raised shellfish is the most sustainable option for our fishery. Unlike other fisheries, Rhode Island's is still plentiful and we plan to keep it that way by practicing sustainable harvesting methods. We were raised on the water, it's our home and we'll do anything to protect it.
