Duchesne House for Volunteers

Volunteers ( High school through college and college alums) come from all over the country to stay with the Duchesne Community for a week long service trip. During their stay they work at different organizations around the city rebuilding houses or working the lingering damage both social and economic resulting from hurricane damage. Through the "reality/hope tour," service projects, daily reflections, meal sharing, evening presenters (local residents), and Katrina related discussions (racial, socio-economic, cultural and environmental) students experience a more cultural and spiritual immersion than they would with another service trip.
